About Mentorship 101, How to Host a Mentor

This module will help instructors to understand the value of including mentorship and role models in programming. In this module, instructors will learn about how mentors enrich programs for youth participants as well as help to enrich the Actua national network. This module is also an opportunity to consider how the process of recruiting role models, planning mentor events, and coordinating mentorship within your program can be an experiential learning and skill development opportunity for instructors.

How long should this module take to complete?

Everyone works at a different pace and may need different time or tools to complete this module and the accompanying activities and reflection questions. However, the mentorship training module will take approximately 1to 1.5 hours to complete.
